Recaps times 3!

November 24-30 Recap of Mandy Bruno's screen time.
"In Case you missed it"

Monday, November 26, 2007

After Thanksgiving dinner, Lizzie and Cassie talked about how much they missed Sarah and Tammy. When Lizzie went to Towers to pick up her pie, she ran into Bill and berated him for outing Billy's problems with alcoholism. Bill said that it was just business, and Lizzie said she thought that he was different. "Every time I'm nice to you, I get screwed!" she yelled. She told Bill that being selfish and manipulative would only get him alone.

Later, Bill showed up at Josh's with Lizzie's pie and Thanksgiving tidings. Josh was angry that Bill had the nerve to think that everything would be okay after he helped leak Billy's alcohol issues to the public and jeopardized the integrity of Lewis. Josh didn't want to let Bill into the house, but Billy told him it was okay to come in. Billy asked his son why he insisted on hurting everyone he came into contact with. Bill reminded Billy that he was the one who fired him from Lewis, and he was simply trying to get back on his feet. Eventually, the two loosened up and shared a few laughs while watching football, until Bill began bad-mouthing Lizzie and Billy kicked him out.

Earlier, Josh awoke from a dream that he and Jeffrey tried to kill Edmund and bury him in the barn. Once fully awake, Josh called Jeffrey in Montana to figure out what he'd done with Edmund. Jeffrey answered that he'd taken care of Edmund just as he said he would, and he didn't have to worry about Edmund bothering Cassie anymore.

In the basement of the Beacon, Roc held Edmund captive. While Roc ate his Thanksgiving dinner, Edmund grabbed his cell phone and texted Will for help. When Will got Edmund's text, he begged Cassie and Josh to take him to see his uncle. Cassie convinced Josh to humor Will, and they took him to see Edmund. Will insisted that Edmund was trapped in the basement, but Josh pretended to call the front desk, and told Will that Edmund had already checked out. Will didn't believe Josh, and Cassie took Will away while Josh stayed behind. Once Cassie and Will left, Josh went in to see Edmund and Roc. Edmund thought Jeffrey was working alone and was surprised that Josh was involved. Josh told Edmund that he would stay locked up until Jeffrey's plan could be carried out.

At the police station, Mallet was surprised to see Marina there and not spending time with her family. Marina brought Mallet dinner and decided to stick around so he wouldn't have to eat alone. Meanwhile, Cyrus kept Harley company at the bar at Towers. As they laughed and drank large glasses of wine, Cyrus apologized for ruining her Thanksgiving. Harley said he didn't have to stay with her. Cyrus replied that he didn't mind staying around because he was hiding from Marina and the mess he'd made of the Cooper family's holiday. While they chatted, Lizzie came over and told Harley she was sorry about her horrible Thanksgiving. Harley wasn't sure what Lizzie meant, and Lizzie said that she thought Gus should have waited a few days before proposing to Natalia. Harley was shocked and speechless. Lizzie said that Gus was a jerk and that Natalia's ring wasn't as pretty as hers. Harley was sickened that Gus would take the time to pick out a ring, and tears began to fill her eyes. Since Lizzie was upsetting Harley, Cyrus made her leave, and he assured Harley that Lizzie probably didn't know what she was talking about. Shortly after, Harley and Cyrus kissed. Harley apologized and told Cyrus he should go meet Marina. When Harley returned home, Cassie and Will stopped by to see her and the boys. Harley and Cassie sat on the couch to talk, and Harley admitted to Cassie that she had feelings for Cyrus.

As Emma prepared for her day at the planetarium, she asked Olivia why Bill hadn't come to see her. Olivia said that Bill was busy, and Emma asked if Bill was like Phillip. Olivia was upset by the comparison and assured Emma that Bill was nothing like Phillip and that he'd be there for her. After Emma left, Olivia listened to two messages from Alan telling her that Gus and Natalia were still getting closer. He reminded her to keep her part of the deal, and asked if she had heard from Phillip. After listening to the messages, Olivia called Bill and asked him to stop by more often to spend time with Emma.

Later, Frank stopped by the Beacon to check on a disturbance. Once there, he told Olivia about his fight with Cyrus over Thanksgiving. He also told her that he tried to have Cyrus deported. Olivia told him he was acting like Alan. "The more you try to hold on to your kids, the farther you're going to push them away," she warned.

Meanwhile, Marina and Cyrus went over to Harley's to help her set up for the detective agency. Harley was still shaken from her kiss with Cyrus, and she was uncomfortable being around the two lovebirds. While they were setting up, Marina noticed how well Cyrus knew his way around Harley's house. He told Marina that he'd spent a lot of time there while they were looking for her. Harley told them that she thought she'd made a mistake in hiring them, and she stormed out of the house.

After Cyrus left, Frank showed up to apologize to Marina. He asked her if her relationship with Cyrus was her way of acting out, and Marina said she was with Cyrus because she truly loved him. "Are you really, really happy?" Frank asked. Marina said she was, and asked Frank if he would ever be able to accept Cyrus. Frank said he didn't know, so Marina asked him to leave. On his way out, Frank left an envelope on the table. Marina was annoyed because she thought it was money, but when she opened it, it was a case from the station.

At the Spaulding mansion, Gus and Natalia told Alan they were engaged. Alan was surprised, but he acted unaffected and congratulated them by kissing Natalia on the lips. Gus told Alan the kiss was inappropriate, but Alan said he was trying to welcome Natalia to the family. Alan told them that he wanted Natalia and Rafe to take the Spaulding name, but Gus was against it. He also told Alan that once he and Natalia were married, he panned on moving their family out of the mansion. When Gus left, Alan told Natalia, "If Gus hurts you, I will be right here."

After his chat with Natalia, Alan was startled to see Cyrus inside the mansion. Alan asked him why he was there, and Cyrus claimed he had a business proposition. Before Alan could finish hearing Cyrus out, Olivia showed up to tell Alan she didn't want to break up Gus and Natalia after all. Alan told her that he kept his end of the bargain and she needed to keep hers. Olivia suggested that Alan be happy for Gus, but Alan wasn't ready to let the idea of Natalia go. "She taught me to feel again," he said. When Alan got back to Cyrus, Cyrus said he wanted money. Alan said he'd have to work for it, and promised he'd pay him if he and Harley looked for Phillip.

Gus went to Main Street, where he met Harley to discuss their divorce. He asked her to join him for coffee, but she told him to save it because she already knew about his engagement. Gus apologized for not being the one to tell her. He said that his sense of urgency in the engagement was for Rafe's sake. "You do want to be married to Natalia, right?" Harley said. "'Cause that would help." She told Gus she knew the proposal wasn't just about Rafe. Harley also mentioned that she was taking a sabbatical from the police force. She asked Gus to handle all of their paperwork because she was too stressed after their conversation. After she got a massage and had a quick fantasy about Cyrus giving her a rubdown, Harley returned home to discover that the agency had two new cases. After a little convincing from Marina and Cyrus, Harley agreed to move forward with the agency.

Harley prepared to tackle her agency's first case — finding Phillip. Cyrus told Marina he was finally divorcing Alex, and Marina was excited she and Cyrus would finally be able to be together. As she and Cyrus kissed to celebrate, Harley watched uncomfortably. When Marina left, Harley and Cyrus went over details about the Phillip case. Cyrus noticed that Harley was on edge, and he asked if she was okay (considering that recently she almost died, was going through a divorce and was about to start looking for her mentally unbalanced ex-husband). Harley claimed she was fine, and told him they needed to get to work.

Harley and Cyrus went to question Beth about Phillip, and she told them Phillip sent her a present for her baby. Harley had no luck getting any details from Beth, but when she stepped out of the room to take a phone call, Cyrus used his charms to get Beth to give up more info on the delivery. Harley was annoyed to return to the room and see Cyrus and Beth flirting. After leaving Beth, Harley and Cyrus interrogated the man who delivered Phillip's package. He told them he didn't know anything about Phillip, and the only thing he could tell them was the delivery date. Once they let the deliveryman go, Harley had a panic attack. When they got home, Harley tried to act like she was fine, but Cyrus told her that he had anxiety over their near-death experience too. They expressed their fears to each other and shared a special bonding moment. As Cyrus held Harley, Marina walked in and saw them.

On Main Street, Cassie and Josh tried to get Will excited about being in the play, but all he cared about was seeing Edmund. He asked if Edmund could stay in town until Christmas. Meanwhile, Jeffrey asked Reva if she minded having a guest stay with them for a day. Reva thought that Jeffrey was inviting an old girlfriend to stay over, but the guest was Edmund. Reva was shocked when he showed up, and said there was no way she would ever be okay with him staying there. Jeffrey pulled Reva to the side and told her that Josh asked him to get rid of Edmund because he knew the paternity of Beth's baby. Reva understood the dilemma, but told Jeffrey he shouldn't have brought Josh and Cassie's problems into their house. Later, Jeffrey told Reva that Edmund wasn't going away to a compound, because he was going to be sent back to San Cristobel to be tried for Alonzo's murder.

Edmund began to complain of pain from the wound on his wrist, so Jeffrey took him to the hospital. Once there, Rick treated the wound while Edmund taunted him about Beth. Edmund finally admitted that he knew Alan was the father of the baby. He told Rick he would remain quiet about the secret unless Rick tried to cross him. While Jeffrey and Edmund were at the hospital, Reva went to see Josh. She asked him if he was okay with how he was handling Edmund. "What you are doing to Edmund will haunt you," she warned. Josh said he had to do what he had to do to protect Cassie. While they were chatting, Cassie and Will came home and Will was excited to be the new lead in the Christmas play. When Reva left, Cassie and Josh talked about getting rid of Edmund. "Three strikes and Edmund is out," Josh vowed. "Out of our lives for good." Dressed in his new angel costume, Will was shocked to overhear Josh's scheme.
