You have 500 New Messages!!
Hello All!! Boy oh boy has life been crazy lately! I haven't been able to get to my myspace page in some time, and as I got on today I saw that I had over 500 new messages! Holy Moley!! So in an effort to update everyone at the same time and to THANK everyone for there amazing support and notes, I am posting a blog! I will do my best to get back to everyone individually, but as you can imagine...it might take me some time! Life on the TV screen:Guiding Light is going very well these days! My storyline with Cyrus and Harley offers all kinds of fun twists and turns, and you will be surprised with the outcomes!! As some of you may know, the writers strike is still going, and while it has effected many a television program, we are not currently effected by the writers strike as we had many scripts pre-written, and we are taping pretty far ahead. We are also begining to implement the new taping technique, which is VERY exciting. I am curious to see what the fans have to say! Finally, all of our outdoor scenes will take place OUTSIDE, (imagine that!) and people will live in real houses, (not just at the Beacon!) and when someone is in a car (they will really be in a car driving!!). Needless to repeat, I am excited!! Life on the Stage:I am currently doing the off Broadway show "Frankenstein," a fantastic musical based on the classic novel by Mary Shelly. I am having a total blast with my cast. They are all very VERY talented, and we are getting some great feedback. I am adding our little commercial link on my page so you can watch that! It's an open ended run, meaning, we don't have a close date...SO COME SEE IT WHILE ITS STILL OPEN!!! I can guarantee the next two weeks for sure. We are hoping to run through the new year, but not sure yet. The Stage Hands Union Strike is effecting all of us in the theater world here in New York City, even those of us who are not closed due to the strike. Most people are assuming that all theater in the city is closed, and they are canceling their travel plans all together to the big apple. BUT SPREAD THE WORD!! WE ARE STILL OPEN!!! And so is a lot of really great theater! So fear not...come out to NY and support all of the theater that is still going strong!Life in Real Life:Ha! What is that?!?! Seriously! Been busy working pretty much around the clock, which is really great for me right now. Any free time I get these days is spent writing music, as I am very anxious to get back to my cd that I was working on. I am also looking forward to getting home to my family for TWO WHOLE DAYS over the holiday's! I wish it were longer, but I am grateful for the time that I do have.I do hope that all is well with all of you! And again, I am truly sorry for not getting back to people personally, sooner, but I thought at this point a blog of what's happening was the best way to stay in touch with everybody!I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving! Let's enjoy bringing in the Holiday's!Cheers!MandyThank you again, for all of your support and notes as well! They do mean the world to me.
